Description
Trulli Gemma is a holiday home located in Puglia, within the Valle d'Itria district (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The entire property is located in two adjacent agricultural lands of about 2 hectares, planted with olive groves and almond groves, as well as parts with plants, hedges and ornamental shrubs. The residential part consists of a series of trulli and a lamia: the main building typical of the area, made up of 7 cones and further rooms and the dependance, a separate and adjoining building.
The main villa can accommodate 6 people. The main entrance leads into the living room, with a decorative fireplace, sofa and armchairs; the right side alcove (small cone) houses a table with seats, the one on the left, the internal kitchen. From the living room an opening leads to the three double bedrooms; the Master Suite, composed of a central alcove with King bed, bathroom with shower, and furnished side alcoves, one of which is used as a wardrobe room with single bed; the Stone, composed of a Queen bed and a bathroom with shower; the Black and White, composed of a Queen bed and a bathroom with shower. All double bedrooms have an independent exit to the outside.
The covered veranda is incorporated into the Trulli where a large dining table is placed; the wood-burning stove, the wood-burning oven, the (main) kitchen, equipped with fridge/freezer, 4 gas burners, electric oven, dishwasher, wood-burning oven and various utensils. The swimming pool, a counter with sink and washing machine, an outdoor shower, a covered gazebo, a games area with bowls and table tennis complete the facilities at the service of the structure.
The Dependance can accommodate 2 people. It is composed of an adjoining covered veranda, kitchen, bedroom with king-size bed, bedroom with single bed, bathroom with shower. The two housing units can accommodate a total of 8 adults in 4 double bedrooms with their own bathroom and 2 children in two single rooms. They can only be booked for a homogeneous group of guests, in order to ensure exclusive use and total privacy.
